Adding and managing a bank account

To receive disbursements from Amazon Pay, you have to set up a bank account based in the same country you registered your Amazon Payments merchant account in. For example, for an account registered in Germany, only a German (EUR) bank account is accepted and for an account registered within the UK, only a UK (GBP) bank account is accepted.

Note: If your business is registered in EU, the bank account holder can only be the registered business name. If your business is registered in the UK, the bank account holder can be either the registered business name or the business owner name.

Add or Update Your Deposit Method 2:50

To add a bank account for disbursements, complete the following steps:

  1. Sign in to Seller Central with your Amazon Payments merchant account.
  2. Click Settings, and then click Account Info.
  3. Click Bank Account Information, and then click Assign.
  4. Enter all required bank account information such as: bank sort code, bank account number and bank account holder name, and then click Set Deposit Method.

Note: There is a mandatory 3-days security period before any changes to bank account information take effect. Transfers of funds cannot be initiated until after that period, which starts on the date you submit your new bank account information in Seller Central.
