You can enhance your Amazon Payments Personal Account features at any time. An enhanced Amazon Payments account gives you the flexibility to add funds and hold a balance in your Amazon Payments account. Use your Amazon Payments account balance to shop online without using a credit or debit card or your bank or building society account. You may also withdraw funds from your Amazon Payments account to your bank or building society account.
In order to start using enhanced account features, you must follow these steps:
- Click the Create Account tab on the Amazon Payments website and register with your existing Amazon username and password
- Set up your security questions and answers
Note: After you set up your security questions and answers, you cannot change them.
- Provide your personal information, including your home address and personal
identification information.

- Verify your e-mail address after completing the registration process.
Verify Your E-mail Address
After you provide your personal information to Amazon Payments, we'll send you an e-mail message with a unique URL. When you click that URL, you will return to the Amazon Payments website to complete the verification process by entering your password. If you are unable to click the link in the verification e-mail message, you can follow the following steps to enter the verification code provided in the e-mail:
- Log in to your Amazon Payments account at https://payments.amazon.co.uk.
- Click Edit My Account Settings.
- Click Verify my e-mail address.
- Click Enter the 6 digit code.
- Enter the 6 digit code in the space provided.
- Click Continue.
